August 12: We have been experiencing record crowds. Please come early to reserve your spot. Main stage performers will start promptly at 7PM if there are no open mic participants. Remember to leave time to visit our amazing vendors, chefs, artisans and more in the night market.

August 10: We have a new sound system! The QSC digital mixer allows us to more easily change acts and will improve the overall sound and flow of the night. Thanks to Ben Watson of Musicologii, soundman Linz Kenyon, and Jon Treichel at Long and McQuade in Kamloops for their hard work getting this system in place for us. Stop by and see their magic at work! Feedback on our sound quality and ideas to make it better are welcome at anytime - of course.

Friday Nighst Live is a Lee Creek Arts and Sports Society event taking place each Friday behind the library in downtown Scotch Creek on the North Shuswap in the British Columbia interior.

The Night Market

Food, arts and crafts, desserts, drinks, pizza and great coffee.

The Stage

Each week we feature local amateur and professional musicians back to back - bands are all paid by donation and a hat or bucket will be passed. If you enjoy the music, show your support by donating to help keep this magical event happening into the future.

Barry Warkentin and Friends perform at Friday Night live in downtown Scotch Creek on the North Shuswap in the British Columbia interior.

Barry and Friends is Barry Warkentin, Ben Watson, guest vocalist Rhea Warkentin, and guest pianist and vocalist, Breonna Falkes. Barry Warkentin has been producing this event for the past few years and has built a small team of experts and a strong following of supporters, musicians and volunteers that make the event happen every week.
